ADx Healthcare offers rapid turnaround COVID-19 testing with real-time, online test reporting. Testing is completed at Northwest Laboratory, a CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited lab and is an FDA EUA-approved testing site for the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test for SARS-CoV2 (COVID-19), required for most travel. The RT-PCR test is considered the current gold standard among COVID-19 tests. This testing is open to everyone age 2 and up and no doctors referral or symptoms required. Appointments and payment are easily made online. At the appointment time you will enter the drive-through location where a medical assistant will supervise a self-swab for sample collection. This molecular testing uses a short swab for cells in the lower part of both nostrils, a process more comfortable but equally reliable to upper nasal passage testing. Same-day, same-hour appointments are possible, based on availability. Once our lab receives your test specimen, it will be processed and reported on our HIPAA-compliant patient portal.
